The MassHire Franklin Hampshire Workforce Board and MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center are committed to helping young adults start their career path on the right foot. Our mission is to ensure the prosperity of Franklin, Hampshire and North Quabbin young people by increasing youth connectedness, enhancing school-community engagement strategies, and improving education and employment prospects for young people aged 16-24 in our area.
The FHYouth website was originally designed by local high schoolers and out-of-school youth in MassHire FHWB program in 2002. They developed the architecture and mission of the site. Then, in 2014, Tech Scouts (a summer camp program for teens and young adults in Greenfield) took the static HTML pages from that site and converted it into a dynamic website on the Drupal content management system.
The goal of the website is to support the career development of youth in Franklin County, Hampshire County, and the North Quabbin area. It was designed to be utilized by anyone: young people, their parents, their educators/counselors, as well as older job seekers and career explorers. Click here to visit FHYOUTH.org
